The Facebook group reinforced and orchestrated
the feel and mood of our ‘community’ (a term which will be explained in the
FINAL DESIGN part of the blog in relation to Activity Theory). As we knew each
other already and were established friends, the group was always going to be a
fun one. But the truly serendipitous fact that we got given Mexican corn was
what really shaped our group’s identity. We brought fun, vibrancy and enthusiasm
to everything we produced and this was strongly shown with our choice of
aesthetics for all things. If we could not source something that suited out
mood (for example, Claire Thomas’ Vimeo video about how to make elote)....
